OCTOBER 2021 - ROB FENNAH TALKS ABOUT HIS NEW SOLO ALBUM - JUNCTION 39

I’ve just finished recording a new album called Junction 39. 

It’s a solo project this time, featuring 11 tracks, and my 10th studio album. I recorded it over four sessions from May – September at the Motor Museum studio’s in Lark Lane Liverpool. 

It’s available to pre-order from October 1 and scheduled for general release on November 1 via Pulse Records.  Formats: CD and Download.   

There may be some limited edition vinyl if there’s a demand for it but for now formats are CD and download  

So what does this album sound like? Well...as many of you already know, I play all styles of guitars; electric 6 and 12, acoustic 6 and 12, so the songs definitely twang and jangle. There is some classical guitar on there too. I also play bass, ukulele, mandolin and, believe it or not, some drums!  Vocals are all by me but I had help with the high harmonies from Lynn McDermott. (You all know Lynn). My son Al contributed with some of the guitars and Ant Brown looked after the drumming. I even have a clarinet played beautifully by Mandy Burvill.  I wanted everything on this album to be ‘played’ by ‘people’ so there are no sequencers or synths at work here. It’s all real!
